In Villemomble, in Seine-Saint-Denis, a septuagenarian was killed by a 39-year-old man who confessed to everything before he was suspected and even died. In a handwritten letter, he explains that he wanted revenge because his victim, his neighbor's nephew, did not want to convince the latter to sell his house to him.

The facts took place in an old suburban lodge, unoccupied since its owner is in Ehpad. Her nephews in their seventies take turns there every two or three days to avoid theft. On Monday, the body of one of them, 75, was found in the attic of the house, brutally murdered.

"He didn't want to convince his aunt to sell me the house"

After the findings, the police of the criminal brigade questioned the relatives of the victim, the last who saw or called him. But one of these witnesses did not attend their summons. According to reports from Europe 1, at the same time, he killed himself in his car by firing a gun.

The man confirmed to be the culprit, in a message on the phone of his ex-wife, and especially in a handwritten letter where he confesses absolutely everything. "Extremely rare," blows an investigator. "I admit to being the only murderer," writes the 39-year-old, who details the premeditation, the fatal blows, and even his cell phone. "I murdered him because he did not want to convince his aunt to sell me the house", he writes, before adding: "It would have allowed me to make a capital gain (...) because I divorced".
