Since yesterday (4th), the Korean government has managed to separate passengers who are coming to Korea from China by plane to a dedicated arrival hall. However, among them, transit passengers who change planes are actually in quarantine blind spots.

Passengers from China enter the Incheon International Terminal 2 Terminal.

Whether transferring domestic or international, all transit passengers must ask the quarantine staff a health questionnaire.

But what happened is the questionnaire is in my hands.

[(You're from quarantine, Pudong, but you don't have to use a quarantine letter.) I don't use transit passengers here. If you don't enter, don't use it.]

At the transit gate, quarantine officers need to collect health questionnaires, which even employees are unaware of.

Passengers from China are managed on separate routes, but they are intermingled with passengers from the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia.

[Incheon Airport staff: There are 400 to 500 passengers coming in at once, but 600 to 700… (Each) mixed in different countries.]

Transit passengers using Terminal 1 pass through a formal quarantine with thermal imaging cameras.

However, Terminal 2 does not have a separate quarantine station and must be placed in the hands of each quarantine officer.

As a result, in case of Terminal 2, there may be cases in which the passengers will exit without properly checking the temperature.

While you may have symptoms on the plane while you arrive in Incheon, you stay at the airport for an average of 3-4 hours until you transfer without any action.

[Incheon Airport staff: Employees at the transit hall think that it is not 100%. Mix them all together. Not sitting on the same chair and continuing to sterilize the chair. I use the bathroom together and then I go to Busan and Daegu.]

Of the 13,000 transit passengers who passed through Incheon International Airport yesterday, more than 800 transit passengers from China and 300 quarantine authorities received support from the military, but they still lacked quarantine personnel.

It is pointed out that more resources are needed at the quarantine front line.
