Two additional Korean confirmed patients with new coronavirus infection. To date, the number of confirmed patients in Korea has increased to 18.
The 17th patient (38 years old, Korean male) was confirmed to have visited Singapore from 18 to 24 last month. The 17th patient was informed that there were confirmed Malaysian nationals among the attendees, and was screened yesterday and confirmed today.
The 18th patient (21 years old, a Korean woman) was the daughter of the 16th confirmed patient, was diagnosed in isolation after her mother was confirmed, and was positive.
The Central Accident and Welfare Headquarters will hold a regular briefing at 11 am today (5th) to explain the status of new Korean coronavirus infection and the progress of confirmed patients. The video mug will deliver the briefing site of the Central Accident Prevention Division.
