The section publishes a report by Vice Admiral S. Gorshkov, commander of the Black Sea Fleet squadron, dated January 19, 1945, on special events in preparation for the meeting of the leaders of the USSR, the USA and Great Britain Joseph Stalin, Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill.

It is noted that during the preparation for the conference, Yalta, its surroundings, as well as the waters of Yalta and Sevastopol, "turned into an impregnable fortress."

The section contains the combat directives of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, which indicate the transfer of significant forces to the Yalta region to protect against possible enemy attacks from the sea and from the air.

Also published were maps of the organization of defense of specified sections, an order by the commander of the Black Sea Fleet Air Force on the creation of a military association specifically for the Yalta Conference, and other documents.

In addition, the collection includes previously unpublished photographs of events held during the Yalta Conference, including a visit to Winston Churchill of the Sapun Mountains, joint feasts of the British and Americans with the heroes of the Black Sea.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense published declassified documents on the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Warsaw from Nazi occupation.
