The Proton-M rocket has been taken out to the Baikonur launch complex


The Proton-M booster rocket, which will launch delivery of the Electro-L meteorological satellite No. 3 to orbit on December 24, was taken to the launch site of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

“On the morning of December 21, in accordance with the work schedule, a space rocket was delivered to the launch site of site No. 81,” the Roskosmos state corporation website said in a statement.

It is noted that upon completion of the supply tower maintenance and connection of communications, work will begin according to the schedule of the first launch day.

It is also reported that the launch of the rocket is scheduled for December 24 at 15:03 Moscow time.

On October 9, the Proton-M heavy-class launch vehicle was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome with the European telecommunications satellite Eutelsat 5 West B and the US Mission Expansion Vehicle-1.
