The ISS American segment fixed the toilet

This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of Roscosmos.

“After replacing and checking the separator, the performance of the WHC (sewage disposal unit of the American segment) has been restored,” the press service said.

Earlier it was reported that on board the ISS all toilets were out of order.

The ISS commander Italian Luca Parmitano clarified that the toilet in the American module did not work due to constant indications of a malfunction. At the same time, the sanitation device in the Russian module was not used due to overfilling of the tank.
