Roscosmos announced its readiness to extend the operation of the ISS until 2030

Director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin announced Russia's intention to use Baikonur for manned flights to the International Space Station (ISS) until 2030.

About this, as RIA Novosti reports, he said during the conference "Space Days in Kazakhstan."

According to him, recently the media wrote that US congressmen took the initiative to extend the work of the space station until 2030.

“This means that at least until this period, Baikonur will work within the framework of this manned program,” he said.

Earlier, Rogozin announced the start of the creation of the National Space Center in Moscow.
