Everyone has ever happened to WhatsApp: someone puts you in a group that you don't want to be in and gives you the repair of going out because it looks bad. Well, this is over.

The popular messaging app has enabled a new feature that prevents you from being included in a chat group unless you have given your permission before.

This news is ahead of others already announced, but have not yet arrived, as the option to silence all work-related chats with a 'vacation mode'.

The new option will begin to be available from today on both Android and iPhone phones and will be activated in the 'Settings> Account> Privacy' menu. Within the privacy tab, a new tab dedicated to groups will appear from which you can activate three variants of the tool.

You can configure WhatsApp so that no one can include you in a chat without first sending an invitation , which you can refuse; or you can allow by default that someone you have as a contact automatically includes you in the chat.

In the same way, you can continue to let anyone, whether you know it or not, include you in a chat without needing your confirmation in advance.

WhatsApp takes months including new small functions to catch up and not lose more users to other services. While it is still the main messaging tool worldwide, other apps such as Telegram are more complete and drag users gradually.
