In October 2008, seven military lawyers, including Ji Young-jun, filed a constitutional appeal.

The Pentagon's banning troops from 23 units, including "bad Samaritans," was a violation of the soldier's right to pursue happiness.

The following year, Ji was dismissed for leading the Constitutional Court but filed a lawsuit against him and reinstated in September 2011.

The military then gave Ji a one-month disciplinary punishment, and forced him to commit four months later.

Ji filed a second lawsuit, and six years later, the Supreme Court confirmed that his disciplinary action and global orders were unfair.

The Pentagon again ordered Ji again, saying that he has reached class retirement age in 2015.

Ji filed a third administrative lawsuit, and the court raised her hand.

The court said, "The dismissal has been imposed due to the unilateral and serious fault of the commissioner," he said.
