Song Mo, who lives in front of a university in Iksan, Jeonbuk, is in danger of removing 33 million won from his deposit.

The landlord's family had cut off before the charter expiration date.

[Mr. Song / Tax Fraud Victims: It's a student, and it's not a small amount of 33 million won.

The landlord's family had a bank loan secured by the home, and the building was auctioned off without paying the debts on time.

The real estate that introduced the house had no explanation in the contract process.

Only 17 homeowners had their homes secured in this way, and 120 tenants were unable to get their rent back.

[Jeong Mo / Venage Fraud Victims: I got my first property with my first loan. Is this really what happened to me? I thought it was a real lie at first.]

Most of the victims were first-time students, such as college students and job candidates, and the damage amounted to more than 6 billion won.

As the charges continued, the owner, Kang Mo, was arrested by the police and sent to the prosecution Thursday.

However, Mr. Kang says that his escaped brother did it and that he does not know anything.

The victims eventually filed a civil lawsuit.

[Yang Seung-il / Case Attorney: We will verify the hidden property and proceed with the process of returning it to the hidden property.]

When you are looking for a home, be sure to check with the real estate agent and purchase a chartered insurance to protect your valuable deposit.
