The Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office of Anti-Corruption Investigation, which investigates the family of the former Attorney General, was found to be investigating suspicions of the destruction of the Liberal Democratic Party's evidence against the Democratic Party's lawmakers along with Chairman Yoo Si-min and Kim Doo-kwan.

Mr. Yu was also accused of false dissemination and defamation in relation to YouTube broadcast 'Alileo'.

This case is being investigated by Seoul Western Prosecutors' Office.

The Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office said on Wednesday that it was allotted to Anti-Corruption Investigation Part 2 (General Manager Koh Gong-gon) shortly after the Korean Party's accusation against Mr. Yoo was filed last month.

On September 4, just after suspicions of counterfeiting of the Dongyang University citation were raised, the Korean Party accused Yoo of Seoul's Central Prosecutor's Office on suspicion of extinction and coercion.

Representative Kim Doo-gwan, who spoke on the phone for the alleged counterfeiting on the same day, was also accused along with Yoo.

The Korean Party insisted that it was likely that the two of them were directly or indirectly pressured to speak to the press in favor of the Attorney General's candidate.

Mr. Yu said, “As a YouTube journalist, I spoke with President Choi to report facts.” He said he had never offered to help candidates in his country.

Kim has also said, "I spoke with Choi to ask about the details of the allegations of counterfeiting."

Part 2 of the Anti-Corruption Investigation Division is also investigating charges related to counterfeiting of Sung-Hyun Choi.
