At about 10:30 today, a man in his 50s came to the orthopedic surgery department of a university hospital in Nowon-gu, Seoul.

First, I locked up the door and approached the doctor A who saw the patient and swung the weapon.

Mr. A suffered severe injuries due to his left hand being stabbed to stop the weapon.

In just four minutes, the police arrived and arrested Choi Mo, who was confronting medical staff.

Choi fell on a bicycle in October 2014 and was operated by A on a palm fracture.

Choi, who visited the hospital several times for the diagnosis of disability after surgery, filed a civil lawsuit in June 2016 stating that the operation was wrong.

[Hospital official: I insisted that my fingers were not stretched out and I did not agree with general anesthesia. But all the general anesthesia contents are included in the surgical consent form.]

The hospital said there was no problem with the procedure and results, and Choi said the damage was caused by poorly treated post-operative rehabilitation.

Choi, who demanded 50 million won in damages, was found to have been guilty of a week later after the final loss decision on the 17th.

The police plan to apply for a warrant for the murder of Choi.
