The malfunction that Ziggo users of fixed internet and fixed telephony had to deal with for hours has been resolved, a spokesperson for the provider told on Monday evening. The regions of Amersfoort, Breda, The Hague and Eindhoven were affected by the outage on Monday.

The cause of the problems is still unclear. In the affected areas, mobile internet and mobile telephony still worked, the spokesperson said.

Due to the outage, fixed internet and fixed telephony could not be used for hours in the four regions.
