Amazon announced several new products during a hardware event, including the Echo Studio, the company's most expensive smart speaker to date.

The Echo Studio is larger than a normal Echo speaker from the company. The device has three midrange speakers, a tweeter and a woofer. The speaker supports 3D audio and Dolby Atmos.

The speaker listens to the environment and adjusts the audio quality accordingly. The device is cylindrical and will cost around 200 dollars (182 euros). This makes it cheaper than its competitors: the Google Home Max ($ 299) and the Apple HomePod ($ 299).

Amazon also presented new versions of the Echo and the cheap Echo Dot. Amazon has added an LED screen to the latter speaker, which can be used to display the clock, timers, alarms and temperature.

Smart glasses and ring

Voice Assistant Alexa will also be available on other devices, Amazon announced. The company presented the Echo Frames, glasses with built-in speakers and a microphone. For bystanders, the sound of the speech assistant would not be heard. It is unclear whether Amazon has added more smart features to the glasses.

Amazon has also linked Alexa to the Echo Loop, a ring around the finger of a user, in which a microphone is built.

Automatically delete voice commands

The company made further adjustments to Alexa in the area of privacy. For example, there is a new option on the Alexa online privacy page, where users can indicate that voice commands from three months or older will be automatically deleted.

Speech assistants recently came in the news, as tech companies engage third parties to analyze users' voice commands.
