The personal data, including names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of 20 million inhabitants of Ecuador have been found again on an unsecured server, Bloomberg reports.

The personal data, including names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of 20 million inhabitants of Ecuador have been found again on an unsecured server, Bloomberg reports.

The unsecured server was in Germany and was used by the Ecuadorian company DataBook, according to two Israeli security investigators. Earlier September the same researchers discovered that the data of 20.8 million Ecuadorians could be found on an unsecured server from another company, Novaestrat.

The South American country has more than 17 million inhabitants. Among the personal data is probably data from hundreds of thousands of people who have since died. It is unclear to what extent the data from the two leaks match.

The Ecuadorian government informed prosecutors on Tuesday of the second leak. The offices of Novaestrat have been searched earlier and an investigation has been initiated.
