The popular Android app CamScanner is back in the Play Store, after malware was discovered in August that allowed users to see unwanted advertisements.

Users who have already downloaded the app are advised to update the app to the latest version, writes INTSIG Information, the company behind the app on Twitter.

With CamScanner it is possible to scan documents and convert them to pdf. The app has been downloaded more than one hundred million times. It is not known how many users were affected by the malware.
