“In the coming years, our astronauts will fly on American ships,” TASS quoted him as saying.

He noted that the launch of the Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano was the last for ESA using the “Union”.

Luca Parmitano left for the ISS on July 20 with the Russian cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov and the American Andrew Morgan. This is his second space flight.
