YTN's Byun Sang-wook anchor has been a hot topic all day. A young man who criticized his country's Attorney General's candidate was posted on SNS on a mocking joke saying, “I don't have a good father.” As things got bigger, the writings were erased, but the controversy didn't go away.

Yesterday (24th) Baek Kyung-hoon, the head of a youth group, took the microphone at the Liberal Korean Party's external gathering in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.

[Park Kyung-hoon / Youth Group Representative: I do not have a father like my country. So I don't think it's easy.]

Byun Sang-wook, who runs a news program at YTN, quoted this remark on SNS and wrote that she would mock her saying that she would not have been there if she grew up under her father.

Mr. Baek told his SNS today, "It seems that Anchor doesn't understand the anger of the youth at all."

Yesterday's speech described the deprivation and anger of young people who couldn't work without a privileged father like their homeland.

"I did not have a father, but I think I have lived quite well with my mother and brothers," he said.

Baek is a relatively active member of the Liberal Korean Party.

In controversy, Ahn Sang-wook deleted the post and the Liberal Party and Barun Future Party demanded an apology from Ahn.

YTN, which is being broadcast by Ahn Ahn, said it was a personal post on SNS.
