Passengers, including job applicants, suffered a lot of inconvenience when the SRT from Gwangju arrived late, due to a breakdown.

According to SR, an SRT operator, an abnormal signal was detected on the 'automatic control unit' of train 604 departing from Songjeong Station at 6:21 am today.

Automatic control system is a system to stop the train automatically when there is a problem in the track.

The crew and the engineer left the train again after maintenance, but the same problem occurred at Jeongeup station in Jeonbuk.

The SR decided that the train was not available, and around 8:00 am, I took 202 passengers to an emergency train at Iksan station.

As a result, the train, which was originally scheduled for arrival at 8:21 am, arrived at Suseo Station an hour and ten minutes later.

Candidates for the written examination of the public transportation staff of Seoul Transportation Corporation, who were on the 604 train, were reportedly unable to enter the test site.

The crew informed Seoul Transportation Corporation of the situation, but the test was scheduled, SR said.

An SR official said, "We are currently checking the cause of the abnormal signal detected by the automatic control system."
