According to the publication, in order to create this image, scientists used about 10 thousand images of the Earth, which were obtained by NASA from the Deep Space Climate Observatory satellite.

It is noted that these images were taken at ten specific wavelengths between 2016 and 2017.

As specified, perhaps this study will help astronomers to assess whether there are oceans, clouds and ice caps on the exoplanet.

Earlier, NASA published a picture of the Curiosity rover, taken from the orbit of Mars by the HiRISE camera, which is installed on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
