A woman died and her 15-year-old son was seriously burned in a house fire in Raon-l'Etape, in the Vosges, on Friday, August 16, according to firefighters.
The vital prognosis of the teenager, who was transported in the service of the burn victims of the hospital Mercy of Metz, is engaged, specified the departmental service of fire and relief (Sdis) of the Vosges.
The fire, which broke out around 14:30 in a "large isolated building" divided into several apartments, mobilized 70 firefighters, according to the departmental fire and rescue service. Six people had to be relocated.
