A man fired a gun on the occupants of a car, making a death and injured, Thursday afternoon on a parking lot in Kingersheim, in the Haut-Rhin, has been learned from a source close to investigation.

The killed driver

According to the first elements of the investigation, a man, hooded face, approached, with a vehicle, a car parked in the deserted parking lot of a technical control center, shortly after 15:30. He fired on the three occupants, presumably with a semi-automatic pistol, wounding a 47-year-old man in the head and killing the driver, a 35 to 40-year-old father. The injured man was evacuated without his condition causing any concern. A third person, the front passenger of the car, was not injured and had to be heard by the investigators.

The initial findings did not determine whether the gunman had fired from his vehicle or had come down from his car before targeting the three men. The judicial police, in charge of investigations, secured the premises to carry out an index survey. Kingersheim is a municipality of just over 13,000 inhabitants, located in the agglomeration of Mulhouse.
