※ 'The Journalist (THE JOURNALIST)', where SBS reporters tell stories directly to viewers that they could not complete in the news! This time, A to Z of the "No Harassment at Work" Act. The SBS Youth Heungshin Team was in charge of solving the various workplace difficulties experienced by young workers.

Since last 16 days, workplace harassment bans have been enforced. From now on, workplaces with five or more employees must include in their employment rules the prevention and response to workplace harassment in order to protect their employees from workplace insecurity.

A total of 565 complaints about workplace harassment, which came into the workplace at work 119 for a week after the enforcement of the law, were 565 cases. An average of 110 reports were received per day, an increase of about 70% compared to the average of 65 cases before the law enforcement. Not only have we been able to confirm the level of workplace injuries that have risen above the surface of the water, but we hope to create a social atmosphere that will not endure unfair treatment anymore.

However, the successful harassment of workplace harassment laws will require a lot of trial and error. Still high.

◆ Reporter Won Jong-jin / 'Reporter of Heungshin Youth' When you get a job harassment report and visit the field, many companies avoid responsibility because they're learning to do it this way or that person has a problem. There is an opinion that the state is too involved in interpersonal issues.

But the real intent of the workplace harassment law is that under no circumstances can a person's personality be ignored. As a result, many conflicts that may arise in the workplace are to be resolved through rational and formal procedures rather than unilateral and insulting methods such as verbal abuse or assault.

Workplace harassment is often caused by a so-called culture. It is not easy for office workers who are bound by strict hierarchies and rank relationships to break this vicious circle. But as someone must break this vicious circle, I hope that this generation of young people has courage. Wouldn't this society be better off when we raised our problems without acknowledging our injustices?
