An earthquake of 3.9 magnitude occurred in Sangju, North Gyeongsang Province on the morning of the 21st. Except for the sea, it was the largest in the inland this year. Fortunately, there was no direct damage, but there were many people who were surprised that there was a report that they felt vibration in Seoul, about 200km away.

An earthquake of 3.9 magnitude occurred at 11:04 am today and 11km north-west of Gangbuk province. The depth was 14 km.

It is a village of Gongbuk-myeon in Changju, Gyeongbuk. The residents who felt the vibration with the roar because they did not fall only 500m from the epicenter had to sweep their surprised chest.

In Gyeongbuk and Chungbuk, a lot of people in the room felt the vibration of Jindo 4, which is the degree of shaking of the window, and the vibration of Jindo 2, which can be felt in quiet conditions in Chungnam, Gyeonggi and Seoul, was detected.

Six minutes later, at about 11:10 pm, after the aftershocks of 1.5 on the scale, the fire department and the meteorological office followed calls.

There were 279 reports of vibration in the country, but no damage was found.

Nuclear power plants and radioactive waste disposal sites have been confirmed to be operating normally without any impact.

The resident quake is the third of 50 earthquakes that occurred this year, and it is the largest earthquake among the inland earthquakes.
