Proton-M rocket launch postponed to July 13

The launch of the Space Observatory "Spektr-RG" on the carrier rocket "Proton-M" was postponed to July 13, the Roscosmos said.

It is noted that this was done "due to the need to obtain experimental confirmation from the specialists of the Moscow plant - manufacturer of the Proton-M launch vehicle of a technical solution for eliminating the comments made on one of the launch vehicle systems".

On June 21, it was reported that the launch of the Proton-M launch vehicle with the new Russian space telescope “Spectr-RG” from Baikonur was postponed due to identified observations.

In late May, the Proton-M rocket with the Yamal-601 communications satellite launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
