Hooded, the fifteen individuals - the Alliance police union evokes "thirty people" - attacked this station around 2 am. Armed with various projectiles, but also cobblestones, smoke and "pyrotechnic elements", they tried to enter the building for about thirty minutes. During the attack, the police also suffered insults and threats: "Bande of French fuckers", or "Come, get out, we will burn you". Officials say that several of them also shouted "Allah Akbar".

Le Figaro indicates that two security guards, not at all prepared for such an event and "in a blouse", tried to contain the fire of their attackers with shields and tear gas before the reinforcements arrived and flee. group. About 30 minutes after the start of the attack, everything was back to normal. No injuries are to be deplored, the damage is material: some windows were broken and a damaged vehicle. More than a hundred remains of projectiles were still found on the scene.
According to the first elements of the investigation opened for "deliberate damage to public utility property in meetings" and "willful violence against any person holding public authority with weapons by destination", the attackers are young people aged between 15 and 20 years old. The Alliance union has denounced this assault of unheard-of violence, describing "police officers at the end, on the verge of rupture", and is worried about the "suffering" situation of this police station in lack of manpower and resources, according to him. A union source also indicates in Figaro that the same attack of this type has already taken place against this police station, in July 2018.
