Russia is preparing to send in the United States three rocket engine RD-180

As noted, in June, representatives of the companies Pratt & Whitney, United Launch Alliance, and EP AMROSS signed forms for three product engines.

"This acceptance is the first in 2019, now the engines are being prepared for shipment," - said in a statement.

Earlier, the head of the US Air Force Space Command, John Raymond, announced Washington’s plans to abandon Russian engines by 2022.

The first RD-180 was delivered to the United States in 1999. Since then, more than 100 such engines have been sent to the country.
