Artists recreated the look of the ancient Europeans, including Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons (early representatives of modern man). Experts relied on the available scientific data on the appearance of our ancient ancestors, which we managed to obtain by examining their remains. For example, the deciphered DNA indicated the color of the eyes, skin and hair. To create realistic busts, the artists used special plasticine and artificial skin. Works are on display at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, UK.
