Wrestler Sadulayev was not allowed to participate in the licensed Olympic tournament by decision of the IOC

“After another pseudo-check, the International Olympic Committee published new lists of those not allowed to participate in international competitions. Unfortunately, they included the two-time Olympic winner, captain of our team, Abdulrashid Sadulaev,” the message says.

The Federation noted that if Sadulayev comes to Baku, he will not be allowed to compete, since he has a ban from the IOC. 

It is noted that Alikhan Zhabrailov will perform in Baku.

Earlier, the President of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR), Mikhail Mamiashvili, said that Sadulaev would prepare for the Olympic Games qualifying tournament in Paris.

It was also reported that Zhabrailov became a four-time champion of Russia in freestyle wrestling.
