“Russian athletes should not refuse to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris - even in a neutral status. Athletes must not be deprived of this opportunity! And statements and insults towards the teams from some public people raise questions,” Rudkovskaya wrote on Telegram.
The IOC allowed Russians and Belarusians to participate in the Olympics in a neutral status. Those who qualify in their sports will qualify for the Games. Athletes should not support the SVO or be associated with military departments.
The Paris Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
