Spanish star Sergio Ramos, captain of the Sevilla team, celebrated his 38th birthday by scoring the winning goal for his team against Getafe in the Spanish League, raising his tally to 142 goals and jumping to fifth place as the most goals-scoring defender in the history of the football club.

Sevilla, which achieved only one win in the last 3 matches, raised its score to 31 points in 14th place.

The Dutchman Ronald Koeman - the current coach of the Netherlands national team - tops the list of “scorers-defenders” by a large margin from the rest of the members of the list, and Ramos is the only player on the list who has not retired.
