The Major League Baseball Dodgers played a game against a local professional baseball team in Seoul, South Korea, before their opening series, and Shohei Ohtani, who started the game, had two strikeouts and no hits in two at-bats.

The Dodgers will face the Padres in the opening series in Seoul, South Korea on the 20th and 21st of this month.



On the 17th, an ``exhibition match'' was held against the Kiwoom Heroes of Korean professional baseball, and Otani started the game as the No. 2 designated hitter.

In his first at-bat of the first inning, he swung a high ball from starting pitcher Ariel Jurado, who has experience playing against him in the major leagues, and struck out.

In his second at-bat of the 2nd inning, he had a chance to get one out and get to first and third base, but on the fifth pitch, he again swung a high ball from Jurado and struck out, resulting in a no-hitter for two at-bats.



Otani, who is popular in South Korea, received loud cheers from the audience every time he stepped into the at-bat.



Otani is also scheduled to participate in the match against the South Korean national team on the 18th.
