Mbappé shined and scored a hat-trick (French)

Kylian Mbappe led his team, Paris Saint-Germain, to a sweeping victory over host Montpellier 6-2, today, Sunday, in the 26th round of the French Football League.

Mbappe scored 3 goals (a hat-trick) for Saint-Germain, in his 200th match in the French League, amid expectations that he will leave the team at the end of the current season, with the end of his contract.

Saint-Germain raised its score to 59 points in first place, 12 points behind its closest competitor, Monaco, which is in second place.

On the other hand, Montpellier's score froze at 26 points in 14th place.

Paris took the lead in the 14th minute through Vitinha, who received a pass from the left side from Mbappe, and shot it from the ground into the Montpellier net.

Despite Paris leading by two, Montpellier tried to return to the match, and succeeded in doing so in the 30th minute after Arnaud scored for them to reduce the difference. The referee awarded a penalty kick for him in the second minute of stoppage time instead of stoppage time for the first half, and Tegi Savner successfully executed it into the net, ending the match. The first half was tied 2-2.

In the second half, Mbappé shone and scored a wonderful goal, after he shot the ball from outside the penalty area, into the left corner of the Montpellier goalkeeper in the 50th minute, then his colleague Lee Kang-in scored the fourth goal three minutes later with a pass from Kolo Mwani.

Montpellier did not show any resistance to the brilliance of Saint-Germain, especially Mbappe, who received a long pass from his colleague Vitinha inside the penalty area to put the ball into the net in the 63rd minute, scoring the fifth goal.

In addition to Mbappe's brilliance, the role of Vitinha, who scored a goal and assisted a goal for Mbappe, before making the sixth goal in the 89th minute, was made clear to his colleague Nuno Mendes, as he passed him the ball inside the penalty area, so the latter put it into the net.
