He is a strong right-handed pitcher who has won the Senbatsu Championship three times, and has worn the ace number 1 on his back since entering the university.
He is known for his well-controlled pitching of fastballs with a speed of 148km/h, and has a proven track record, having played on the mound at Koshien in consecutive springs and summers last year.
◇Sakushin Gakuin (Tochigi) Teppei Ogawa Pitcher
He is an authentic right-hander who throws powerful straights with a maximum speed of 147km/h.
He pitched well with an ERA of 1.07 in official games last fall, contributing greatly to the team's runner-up finish at the Meiji-Jingu Tournament.
At last year's Senbatsu, he was unable to show his full potential due to injury, and is looking forward to his revenge.
◆Hachinohe Gakuin Kosei (Aomori) Hiro Senpei Pitcher
He is a left-handed pitcher who is attracting attention at this tournament because he throws both fastballs and breaking balls with sharp pitches.
He has been on the mound at Koshien since the summer of his first year, and as a second-year ace, he led the team to the top eight at Koshien last summer.
The name "Hiro" comes from the baseball manga "H2" by Mitsuru Adachi.
◇Hotoku Gakuen (Hyogo) Ayumu Maki Pitcher
A right-handed pitcher who is known for his tenacity in a pinch, he pitched over 41 innings in official games last fall, posting an impressive ERA of 0.22.
He pitched in all five games in last year's Senbatsu, where he participated as a sophomore, and contributed to the team's runner-up victory.

This year's team has pitchers who throw powerful fastballs, and this winter they have been working on strengthening their control, with the goal of becoming the "absolute ace."

He is one of the best left-handed hitters in the tournament, and is known for his long-hitting power.

He is the captain of the team and contributed to the victory at last year's Meiji-Jingu Tournament, scoring six RBIs including a home run in the semifinals.
He also has great mobility, as he stole seven bases in an official game last fall.
His father, Taisuke, won the Senbatsu Championship in Tenri (Nara), and the father and son are aiming to win the Koshien Championship together.
