The Formula 1 world champion team Red Bull has suspended the employee who accused team boss Christian Horner of inappropriate behavior.

The BBC and the television channel Sky Sports report this unanimously.

A spokeswoman said the team could not comment on internal labor matters.

Horner will take part in a regular FIA press conference around the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in the afternoon.

Horner had denied all allegations against him.

Last week he was cleared by an independent investigation.

The team did not name the employee and the details of the allegations remain confidential, although alleged evidence was sent anonymously to the media - including SPIEGEL - and key people in the paddock last week.

Below that was a link to files that supposedly showed information about the case.

The authenticity is not confirmed.

On the sidelines of the Bahrain Grand Prix last weekend, Horner did not want to comment on whether the pictures and messages were real.

According to the Daily Mail, Horner assumes that Jos Verstappen, father of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, has started a campaign to force him out of office.
