The coach of Real Madrid,

Carlo Ancelotti

, has decided to go to trial and defend himself against the Prosecutor's accusation against him for a tax crime.

Not in vain, he has already consigned the money, which in case of conviction would imply a reduction in the sentence by having repaired the damage.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Provincial Court of Madrid requests a sentence of four years and nine months in prison for having defrauded just over a million between 2014 and 2015, during his first stage as coach of

Real Madrid

.

According to the Public Ministry, in 2014 he would have stopped paying taxes of 386,361 euros and during the following year, 675,718 euros.

For the first, the Prosecutor's Office demands two years and three months and for the second, two and a half years.

EL MUNDO already revealed last July that Judge

María Inmaculada Lova

, head of the 35th Court of Instruction of Madrid, had concluded the investigation and that she considered him responsible for not having declared the income derived from his advertising contracts.

Ancelotti

's intention

is to discuss that his tax residence in 2015 was not based in Spain after closing his first cycle with the white team.

This issue was accepted by the investigating judge but the Prosecutor's Office appealed and won the appeal.
