Medvedev said that the Olympics in Paris will be very sad

“The Olympics in Paris are ahead - I don’t want to watch it, I don’t even want to look at the performances of our athletes under a neutral flag.

This is their choice, I do not blame them from a legal point of view, but from a moral point of view, this is a complex topic.

I think that in the end the Olympics in Paris will be very sad,” Medvedev told RIA Novosti. 

On December 8, it became known that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) allowed Russians and Belarusians to participate in the Olympics in a neutral status.

Those who qualify in their sports will qualify for the Games.

However, athletes will not be allowed to participate in team competitions.

Moreover, Russian symbols will be prohibited in any form at official facilities and events.

And athletes should not support the SVO and be associated with the military departments.

Earlier, Medvedev said that international sport is in crisis.
