Japan national soccer player Junya Ito has filed a lawsuit seeking 200 million yen in damages against two women who filed a criminal complaint alleging sexual assault, alleging that the false accusations damaged their reputation.

Two women filed a criminal complaint with the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters in January, alleging that they were sexually assaulted by Ito and his trainer after being made drunk at a hotel in Osaka last June, and one of them had PTSD. He claims to have suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder.



Regarding this, Ito filed a lawsuit in the Osaka District Court on the 19th, demanding 200 million yen in damages from the two women, alleging that the accusations were groundless and false, damaging his reputation, and causing his sponsorship contract to be terminated. I did.



After filing the lawsuit, Ito's representative said, ``We would like to clarify that this is a false accusation that is not based on objective evidence, and that there is no evidence of sexual assault.''



On the other hand, regarding the complaint filed by Ito, the woman's representative said, ``We have not been able to confirm the contents of the complaint, so we cannot comment on the specifics,'' and added, ``The women are demanding appropriate punishment.'' We have filed a criminal complaint, and we will act with the priority of cooperating with the investigation.''
