Egyptian Mohamed Salah led his team, Liverpool, to victory over its host Brentford 4-1 in the match that brought them together - today, Saturday - in the 25th round of the English Premier League.

In the second half, Liverpool scored the second goal in the 55th minute through Alexis McAllister, after a wonderful pass from Egyptian Mohamed Salah, who crowned his effort in the match by scoring the third goal in the 68th minute.

In the 75th minute, Ivan Toney scored a face-saving goal for Brentford, before Cody Jacobo added the fourth goal for Liverpool in the 86th minute.

With this result, Liverpool raised its score to 57 points at the top of the standings, while Brentford's score stopped at 25 points in fourteenth place.

New number for Salah

The goal scored by Salah, who came on as a substitute in the 44th minute, became his fifteenth in the league this season, leveling with Norwegian Erling Haaland, Manchester City striker.

After Salah scored the first goal, the “Squaka” statistics network indicated that the player participated in 23 goals this season in the Premier League, more than any other player.

But the 32-year-old raised this tally to 24 after scoring his 15th goal this season, in addition to 9 assists.

According to the Opta statistics network, Salah is the player with the most goals in the Premier League since joining the Reds in August 2017.

The player participated in 219 goals, more than Harry Kane (169), Song Heung-min (148), Kevin De Bruyne (130) and Raheem Sterling (129).

For the 30th time in his career, Salah has succeeded in scoring and scoring in Premier League matches, and only 3 others have surpassed him in the history of the competition.

Englishman Wayne Rooney (36), Frenchman Thierry Henry (32) and Englishman Alan Shearer (31) are ahead of Salah.

This is Salah's first participation with Liverpool since his injury in the African Cup of Nations with the Egyptian national team.
