On the 6th, pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who was transferred to the Dodgers of the Major League Baseball, conducted voluntary training at a campsite in Arizona prior to the team's camp-in.

Pitcher Yamamoto joined the Dodgers this off-season from professional baseball, Orix, using the posting system with the highest contract in major league history for a pitcher.

Pitcher Yamamoto entered the facility at the campsite in Glendale, Arizona, just after 8 a.m. on the 6th, before the Dodgers' battery group camp began on the 9th.

Approximately two hours later, he showed up at the outdoor practice field fully dressed in Dodger blue, including a long-sleeved blue T-shirt, blue hat, blue shorts, and blue shoes. He was moving his body by throwing things towards the opponent.

He was seen waving to the fans who had gathered around 1:00 p.m. as he left the practice field.

Pitcher Yamamoto will enter camp on the 9th while attracting a lot of attention, as he is already expected to be a mainstay of this season's rotation in the local media.

Shohei Otani, who had done his own training at the same facility the day before, did not appear.
