Kanazawa Bushidan, a B3 basketball team that had temporarily suspended their activities following the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, returned to league play on the 3rd, and in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, where the team's practice base is, residents who have been living in evacuees are holding a public view. I watched the game at Ing.

The public viewing was held at the Tazuruhama Gymnasium in Nanao City, which is an evacuation center, and was attended by approximately 100 people, ranging from children to the elderly.

This gymnasium is the training base for the Kanazawa Samurai Team, and the players, who temporarily suspended their activities after the earthquake on the 1st last month, have been involved in relief efforts by carrying supplies and running a soup kitchen.

The residents who visited watched the team's return home away game against Gifu Swoops, cheering by banging merchandise every time a goal was scored.

Unfortunately, they lost the game by one point, but the residents cheered loudly until the end, and applauded their efforts after the game.

A man living at the evacuation center said, ``The players treated me kindly at this evacuation center.Watching them work hard in the games gave me energy and strength.''

Another man said, ``Even though they haven't been able to practice for nearly a month, they fought today's special game without giving up until the very end. I think it gave everyone energy.''
