Camp for Orix, which is aiming for its fourth straight victory in the Pacific League of professional baseball, has begun in Miyazaki, and manager Satoshi Nakajima expressed his determination, ``I want to improve the team's strength and be able to fight until the very end of the season.''

Orix has started a camp at Kiyotake Sports Park in Miyazaki City with the aim of winning their fourth consecutive championship for the first time in 46 years since their predecessor, Hankyu, and regaining the number one spot in Japan.

This year, we had practice days on Saturday and Sunday, when many fans would come, so the opening day was one day later than usual, and the opening day was on the 2nd.

Pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who won four titles in the Pacific League three years in a row, will be transferred to the Dodgers in the Major Leagues, and pitcher Daiya Miyagi is expected to do well.

He has started more than 20 games for three years in a row and has recorded double-digit wins, and this year he will adjust later than usual to account for the accumulation of fatigue.

He did not go to the bullpen on the second day and worked up a sweat by playing catch and stretching.

Pitcher Miyagi said, ``I think the first season is the most important after Yoshinobu-san is out. I want to take on various challenges while consulting with my body and have a competitive season.''

Coach Nakajima said, ``At the camp, I want to improve the players' abilities so that they can fight until the end of the season ahead.I want to increase the team's strength and fight until the very end.''
