The outcome of the African Cup is approaching and the first posters for the quarter-finals are known. The matches between the last eight teams of CAN 2024 will begin on Friday February 2 with a tempting Nigeria-Angola.
Six teams have already composted their tickets. Angola easily dominated Namibia (3-0) while Nigeria won against Cameroon in the African classic (1-0).

Guinea snatched its ticket from Equatorial Guinea at the very last minute before extra time (1-0) while DR Congo defeated Egypt on penalties (1-1, 8-7 tab).
Cape Verde defeated Mauritania (1-0), while Ivory Coast achieved a thunderous comeback by eliminating Senegal on penalties (1-1, 5-4 tab).
Mali won its duel against its neighbor, Burkina Faso, (2-1)
