Rakuten, a professional baseball company, held a seminar on the 30th to confirm incidents of harassment at baseball sites in response to the issue of harassment by players within the team.

Rakuten revealed last year that pitcher Tomohiro Anraku had harassed multiple players in the locker room, including removing their underwear.

As part of its measures to prevent recurrence, the team held a training session on harassment online at the Okinawa hotels of the first and second teams before the camp, where all relevant personnel gathered, and approximately 170 people, including managers and players, participated. .

The seminar was held for over an hour, and the lecturer was the team's legal advisor, who examined whether there was harassment, such as denial of character, in casual behavior on the baseball field, and gave specific examples of court cases that constituted harassment. It is said that they confirmed the cases of harassment while asking players for their opinions on whether or not to do so.

Kazuki Tanaka, the player's president who attended the seminar, said, ``The scope of harassment that we thought of was different from the scope of society in general, so we felt that we had to respond firmly. I think everyone will be able to see it. I want everyone to review their actions and make us a team that is truly supported."
