Atletico Mineiro's Brazilian striker Hulk grabbed the spotlight from his country's domestic league championship by scoring a stunning goal with a powerful shot from distance.

Hulk led his team to victory over its host Cruzeiro in the match that was held – on Sunday – at the Governador Magales Stadium in the ninth round of the Brazilian league by scoring the only goal in the 27th minute.

The referee awarded a foul in favor of Atletico Mineiro 10 yards from the halfway circle to make a sudden decision to shoot the ball directly towards goal despite the distance, and fired a rocket shot into the net of Cruzeiro goalkeeper Rafael Cabral.

According to the British site "Give Me Sport", the players of Crazy did not bother to form a human wall as they did not expect Hulk to make this "crazy" shot, and in fact they cannot be blamed for thinking this way.

The same site confirmed that Hulk (36 years) used to score goals through direct free kicks in addition to shooting from distance, but this goal is the most beautiful ever.

About a month later, Hulk will turn 37 and yet still plays football at a great technical level.

Hulk has been playing for Atlético Mineiro since the summer of 2021, at which time he joined the Brazilian team from China's Shanghai Port FC.
