On May 25, the head of the Court of Instruction number 26 of Madrid decreed the provisional release of the four involved, who were arrested as alleged responsible for the facts. They were charged with a hate crime and banned from approaching the player, his workplace and the Santiago Bernabéu and Cívitas Metropolitano stadiums at certain matches.
