"The fourth set was very unpredictable but in the timeout the coach said we were going to win and we believed in it," Haak said.

In the fourth set, Sweden was down 9-16 but managed to turn it around and win it 25-22 and world star Isabelle Haak was elected Sweden's MVP. The match ball was dramatic with Sweden trying to decide time and time again before Bosnia hit the net.

Sweden won the first set 25-22 after Julia Nilsson and Isabelle Haak went up in a double block in front of the net at the set ball.

In the second set, Bosnia saved four straight set balls at 24-20. Haak smashed in 25-24 and after a double block by Haak and Jonna Wasserfaller won the set with 26-24.

At 18-18 in the third set, Sweden took the timout after Bosnia won a couple of balls in a row. However, Bosnia won the set 25-22 after Sweden saved two set balls.

Belgium, favourite-tipped, is also included in the group stage where each team plays four games. The group ones and the best runners-up in the three groups go to the playoffs and semi-finals which are played in double encounters as well as finals.

Sweden is 15th in the European rankings while Bosnia is 17th.
