• Interview Jesús Navas: "I never get nervous"

The hours leading up to the Europa League final left some tense scenes in Budapest. What had been harmony between fans throughout the center of the Hungarian capital during the morning led to scenes of tension as match time approached. The hundreds of sevillistas who congregated in the fan zone that UEFA had enabled in the vicinity of Avenida Egressy, near the Puskas Arena saw how Roma ultras sneaked in throwing flares and causing incidents that ended with two followers, one of Sevilla and another of Roma, in the hospital and many others had to be treated for injuries that were not serious.

The Italian ultras, in addition, were accompanied by the radical fans of the Polish Slask Wroclaw, who would have moved to Budapest seeking revenge for an altercation that occurred in the match that faced both teams in the Europa League campaign 13/14. Since then they maintain a strong rivalry with the Biris and this group went to look for in the amateur area.

These altercations caused the strong police force surrounding the final to be reinforced. Especially guarded were the Italian supporters, who outnumbered the Sevillistas in the stadium.

However, the fans of Sevilla did not see watered down a party that animated the former players Coque Andújar, hero of the Basel 2016 final, Nico Pareja and Daniel Carriço. In the middle of the party there was also a memory for Sergio Rico, to whom Sevilla wants to dedicate the title.
