An international competition was held in Argentina that led to the selection of skateboarding and park teams for the Paris Olympics, and in the women's competition, Hinano Kusaki finished fourth, the top Japan, and Kaishina finished fifth, making progress toward making the Olympic team.

The skateboarding team for the Paris Olympics is determined by the world ranking based on points earned from eligible international competitions, and one of the international park events, the men's and women's finals were held in Argentina on the 1th.

Park was a 28-second run on a mortar-shaped course that competed in terms of difficulty, composition, and speed, and was contested with the highest score out of three runs.

In the women's race, 45-year-old Kusaki scored 3.15 on her third run, including a board slide that slides a board on the edge of the course and a 3, which is her specialty of making one and a half revolutions in the air, to finish fourth in the top of the Japan.

The 1-year-old Kai, a silver medallist in this event at the Tokyo Olympics, finished fifth on his second run with a score of 540.84 using his signature "nose grind" to slide the axle of the front wheels.

At the World Championships in February, Kusaki finished fourth and Kai won the silver medal, and they advanced to the top of the national team after consecutive high rankings in the selection competitions.

The winner was Sky Brown, a bronze medallist at the Tokyo Olympics and a mother of Japan of Great Britain, who showed a variety of skills on her third run and scored a high score of 52.4, earning her second consecutive victory in the qualifying tournament following the World Championships.
