The injury list currently includes Kosovare Asllani (groin injury), Hanna Glas (knee injury) and Caroline Seger (calf muscle injury).

Although the latest information indicates that both Asllani and Seger are on their way back, Peter Gerhardsson does not want to comment in any way on possible World Cup players.

"I can't say anything about any players really because they belong to their clubs now. It's about taking it day by day and seeing if they will be playable before the World Cup otherwise about how they can train catch-up. There we have back-up and a good plan on how to do it. Our ambition is to select 23 players now June 13 who will go and that they will be playable on July 23, says Gerhardsson.

"Just talking about her as a player"

Bringing in any of the players who have not played for several months, the head coach does not see as a problem.

"These are individual decisions. Depending on the player, depending on the competitive situation. Also how long you have been away and what is needed, says Gerhardsson.

One of the players who is injured right now is team captain Caroline Seger who is one of the most important players. But to make a "Granen" and bring Seger as a security in the team and a leader is not likely to happen.

"It's not something we're discussing right now at all. We're just talking about her as a player.

The World Cup will be played in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20. Peter Gerhardsson presents the World Cup squad on June 13.
